Amazing grace…

Sometimes, when I see God’s plan for our lives revealed – in all its glory and amazing grace – it takes my breath away. We try so hard to plan our lives down to every single detail. God must simply chuckle. Remember, He’s the one who sees the top side of the tapestry of our lives.
My daughter called a few days ago with the exciting news that they had been approved for the adoption of my new grandson in Ethiopia! Not ONLY had they been approved, but they are to be IN Ethiopia by December 10th! This amazing news set us all in high gear so to speak. Originally, we had thought they would probably be traveling after Christmas and that I would just stay there when Jim and I traveled there for Christmas (2 tickets already purchased for December 17th)! My daughter purchased a new ticket for me to fly to the Midwest now on December 6th to take care of my three precious grandchildren while they are away.
God’s plan is so much better than ours. Now, they will travel to Ethiopia and be back home before Christmas! This precious baby boy will spend Christmas in his new home…not an orphanage in Africa!
Such wonderful, amazing grace…
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

God is so good! My, how this precious life will be changed!
Thank you, Tim! You’re right – God is amazingly good and I am so grateful!
WOW! That is remarkable. Yes, Gods’ plan is ALWAYS better than our own!
Talk about a precious Christmas present!!! They must be over the moon!
You certainly have a beautiful little blessing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving !
Wow…thanks, Carole, Mary and Brenda for your sweet comments and rejoicing with me!
Our prayers have been answered! Praise God! I’m looking forward to seeing a photo of your new grandson.
Thank you, Janet! I told my daughter there were some prayer warriors at work here and I knew you were among them! Those ten days waiting will be hard so the grandchildren and I will have to stay busy! No doubt I’ll be busy anyway just keeping up with them and their schedule!
