Wonderful news and a prayer request…
After one long year in the adoption process of a baby boy from Ethiopia, my daughter and her husband finally have a “court date”! My daughter said normally when the adoption agency notifies you that a court date has been “set”, it is usually two weeks out. Their court date is in TWO DAYS! Evidently, the process isn’t a simple one. The biological mother has to appear before the court and every single document submitted by the adoption agency must be perfect.
I wish I could show you my beautiful little grandson’s photo, but due to agency regulations, I cannot…at least, not until he’s home in America and in Grandmommy’s arms!
Would you, please, join me in praying for this sweet baby today…for the court officials…for the biological mother…please PRAY that the adoption would proceed quickly and without any further obstacles. Thank you and blessings to you!

I remember the excitement when we were told Daniel was to arrive “in one week” and how thrilled we were. David and Mary were so excited and we as a family gave thanks to God for this miracle. We did not have to travel to the country to get him, but now alot of families are either required to do so or just want to. I am so excited for you and your family to finally have this baby home. And, if I am remembering this correctly, they are using HOLT and HOLT never has any papers missing or such. Holt is highly respected and I know things will go well. My love and prayers are with you all! Shirley
Hi Dianne,
Oh they don’t give them much time!
I will keep this in my prayers, and I just hope it works out for your daughter and the baby.
Speaking of,your little grandson in the post below is just adorable, what a sweet face, awwwwww, love him.
Your blog is so beautiful, and I wanted to ask you if the header is a road near where you live? If so, that is quite the hill!

I pray that all goes smoothly and he will be home with his new family asap! Also for his biological mother…a difficult heart decision for her to make.
Wow, they aren’t giving them much time! Pray that all goes smoothly and you’re holding your little grandson soon!
